  Calling your name five minutes of fame detect select protect looking for someone to blame the mirror shows only lame wake up wake up! the ice is getting thin "I'm the greatest" shouts the king taking one step forward and two steps back select elect reject freezing to death six feet under out of breath anthems feeding a dream a hungry child screams promises made lies only fade wake up wake up! it's not what it seems coming apart at the seams taxing our pain same old refrain obsession oppression dejection wake up!

   The government is confused, dysfunctional, and divided by design. The design of this dysfunctionalism was intended to prevent a Trump (or an Obama) from ever controlling so much of the government that policies are rubber stamped without the cooperation of the 'other side'. There is a certain naivete in believing that government is a well oiled machine that can be tuned up by the right people being voted in. When it comes to government, dysfunction is our saving grace designed to protect us from our government. The single biggest problem within government are statesmen that become complacent, numb or even comfortable with government dysfunction and relinquish any personal morality/vision influencing how they would vote. Insider trading exists in government as a byproduct of dysfunction, but even that pales in comparison to the use of foreign policy to influence the stock market as Trump has done.
